location: the hotel was close to the town centre with excellent bars, the front garden, and fairy tale castle. the place was less than a 5-minute walk to bodegas ochoa. thoroughly enjoyed central heating, a multi-channel tv, and a study table in the room. there was a bathtub, a plus for me.

It was a good overnight en route from southern Spain to northern France, close to a great bodega to pick up a supply for Christmas, and only five mins from theotorway and fivemins walk into a nice town.
I like hotels that have a facility for brewing tea/coffee in the room. This didnt

It is a comfortable and well located hotel with a walking distance( 5 minutes) to the centre of the town. Paid up private parking was very good.
One could hear some sound of the water flushing from next door in the early morning!

Fairly close to the Old Town
One girl on reception when we arrived on Saturday afternoon who did not speak English, neither did she understand our Spanish,-I think they have a different dialect up there. We could not get a drink of anything at all,- water, tea coffee or wine. As we had just had a 6 hour drive we needed some refreshment. As we were leaving in the morning we noticed a mini bar tucked away in a corner of the upstairs corrador but sadly this was not pointed out to us.As it was 32 degrees at the time & we had wine in the car we asked if we could park in the underground garage for a couple of hours until it cooled down, & what would be the cost. Yes certainly & the cost would be 18 Euros _ You must be joking

Fantastic hotel - almost brand new and beautifully built and decorated to a really high standard - looks and feels more like a top hotel in Germany or Austria, but that's only to it's credit. Our room was fabulous with a big jacuzzi bath tub, loads of space and lovely fittings. The hotel is well situated a few hundred yards from the entrance to Olite's old town, and the family who own and run it couldn't have been nicer or more helpful
